Dacor wurde 1953 von Sam Davidson Sr. gegründet. Er entwarf und produzierten einen Zweischlauchregler mit 2 Membranen um damit das Patent von La Spirotechnique zu umgehen. Der Regler hies dann “Diving Lung” (auch Double Diaphragm) und wurde lange Zeit produziert und verbessert.  Heute gehört Dacor zu HTM Mares

Dacor was founded in 1953 by Sam Davidson Sr. He designed and produced an doublehose reg with two diaphragms to get around the patent by La Spirotechnique. This reg was called “Diving Lung” (also Double Diaphragm) and was produced and improved for a long time.  Today Dacor is part of HTM.
