Also a descendant of the MK 5. It shares the same piston and has a speciality: An audible warning system was implemented. The first stage started to honk (this stage ist known as "the honker") and vibrate at low tank pressure with every breath.
This system was designed to supplant the J-Valve. It was very controversial discussed. Just the uw-hunter and photographers hated it as it scared the fishes away. Ports: 1 High Pressure Port (3,8", later 7/16"), 1 Low Pressure Port, 1 Audio Port for the main 2nd stage.
To connect other consumers a special port replicator was needed. This is an obsolet first stage in very hard to destroy construction. But can be very useful even today while diving with low visibility when watching the pressure gauge is too difficult.
