The company Poseidon was formed in 1958 by Ingvar Elfström . In the same year Poseidon offered their first singlehose reg: The Cyklon Junior. Already in 1954, Elfström had produced doublehose regs for his club Poseidon in his kitchen. In 1963 he invented the first drysuit with valves – the Unisuit was made of neopren and was a true top good. Due to the bad diving conditions in Sweden, the regs had always to be made for worst conditions and rank to be extremly secure (even though they are not very easy to breathe). 1972 they offered the first 300-bar regulator.
